- Crocus Siberi Tricolour (Purple, White, Yellow) are among the simplest bulbs to withstand cold weather. Crocus plants have spherical corms and are bulbous perennials that grow to a height of 15 to 20 cm.
- From corms, flowering herbaceous perennials belonging to the iris family are reproduced as crocus species. The circular, flattened tops and bottoms of the corms are covered in tunic leaves.A few linear, green leaves with faint stripes are produced by plants and emerge from the corms.
Planting Methodology:
- Make sure the soil drains well and pick a spot that receives full sun.
- Soggy soil is intolerable to crocus bulbs. This bulb needs potting soil that is loose and permeable.
- The rainy season is when crocus bulbs are sown.
- Planting depth should be between 10 and 12 cm, and bulbs should be spaced apart by the same amount.
- Use garden soil + compost + perlite + sand (2:2:1:1) or soil + cocopeat + vermicompost (2:1:2) as the potting mix for bulb plantations.
