Neem oil is a naturally occurring pesticide found in Neem tree seeds. It has been used to control pests and diseases for hundreds of years. Neem oil components can be found in a variety of products today. For more information, please see our workshops.

MADE FROM

Neem oil is extracted from the Neem tree’s seed kernels. It has a deep yellow color and a garlic-like odor. It contains azadirachtin, nimbin, picrin, and sialin as active ingredients.

HOW TO APPLY

Neem has the ability to disrupt insect growth and feeding patterns; therefore, it is best used when insects are young and in their early stages.
Sprays require time to work, so use them frequently.
Make sure to spray the leaves on both sides.

BENEFITS

In the vegetable garden, neem oil serves as both a pesticide and a fungicide. It is effective against arthropod pests that eat your vegetables, such as tomato hornworms, corn earworms, aphids, and whiteflies. Furthermore, Neem oil controls common fungi that grow on vegetable plants, such as Mildews.
