• Kaempferia Rotunda (White, Purple) Before the leaves ever form, the bloom comes out of the ground.
  • It belongs to the ginger family and is native to Southeast Asia. The plant blooms for four to five weeks, but the blossoms appear from the rhizome one or two at a time and survive only two or three days apiece.
