Often referred to as young corn or cornlets, this cereal grain is extracted from early-harvested corn (maize) while the stalks are still small and immature, and it is consumed whole, including the cob. A diminutive kind of sweet corn is called baby corn. It pairs beautifully with curries and appetizers alike.

 GROWING LITTLE CORN FROM SEEDS:

  • Take a Seedling Tray and add Cocopeat to it.
  • Drill a hole that is ½ inch deep, and plant four seeds in each.
  • Using Cocopeat, fill the opening.
  • Use a spray bottle or cannon to apply water.
  • Don’t let the soil get too wet.
  • Seeds have a week to germinate.
  • In two to three weeks, repot the sapling in a medium-sized pot.
  • Direct sunshine is required.
